More Than Less Than Flip Book Using the Four Operations

These spiral bound flipbooks teach the concepts of greater than or less than across the areas of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Within each book there are three pages, the left and right showing equations, and the centre page showing a greater than, less than, or equals sign (including both symbol and word examples). The task is simply to match across these pages to produce examples that are correct. By writing each example down, children can then go on to simplify it. For example, 13 + 3 is greater than 6 + 7, can be simplified to 16 > 13. Examples for simplifying the equation are printed in the back of the book.
