Lulu is a member of one of the oldest known pet dog breeds known as the Maltese which has been in existence for at least 3,000 years. This is why Lulu is very posh and can seem a little snobby. However, I can tell you, she is not like this at all. She is really very friendly and can even be a little vague and very clumsy ? just don?t tell her I told you!

Elderon is a good friend of Merlin, and has the amazing ability to see into the past, present & future. He uses a special potion in his cauldron that when heated and comes to the boil enables him to see images in the steam and smoke that rises from it.

Wife of Hendrik (although she did date Axel for a short time), Helga is certainly a strong and forceful woman. No-one messes with Helga, especially when they see her carrying arms full of wood, that she has just finished chopping for the stove so that she can cook up a storm. Helga also does surprisingly have a beautiful singing voice and you can often hear her singing as she works.

Mosh is a true hard rocker, he is a champion air guitarist and will always be found in the mosh pit at concerts, hence his name! He is great friends with DJ and has him mix some sick tracks.

Being best friend with Ashes, Howzat, is always trying to get a game started with the island inhabitants. He has an uncanny ability to recall all the stats of Australia's greatest players. No-one has been able to stump him yet either on or off the field.

You should see it when Tom & Carmen hit the dance floor together; they are the envy of everyone, considering poor tom had 2 left feet before he started dancing lessons. Tom's other passion other than dancing is to travel.

There's nothing frightening about this little monster. Pinky Winky is about as nice as anyone could be. She comes from the planet Mercury, and her biggest desire in life is to please others and be a good friend.

Hooty was the perfect choice when the decision was made to hire a night watchman for Beanie Town. With his keen eyes and loud voice, Hooty was able to alert the residents of a fire that had started from a lightening bolt. If Hooty hadn't seen the fire it could have been catastrophic.

Although dodo birds have been thought to be extinct for thousands of years, they are in fact alive and well on Beanie Island. Dizzy is very concerned that no seems to know about dodo's and has set up a dodo awareness society on Beanie Island to ensure people are aware of her kind.

Oohlaroo is an Aussie who has been living in rain forests of the top end all his life before heading to Beanie Island. He has an affinity with the Aboriginal people and has absorbed their culture into his everyday living and enjoys teaching the other Beanie Kids about this way of life.

Marina is Shelley's cousin and lives around seal rocks. She helps out on Beanie Island by inspecting the jetties and boats for damage or wear and tear underwater without the need for scuba gear. Marina also loves to explore the sea beds around Beanie Island to find the beautiful shells to add to her collection.

There has been a real spate of feline visitors to the island, but who can blame them? It is sunny most of the time, and Posh loves nothing better than a nap in the sunshine. The other thing Posh loves about the island is that it's incredibly clean and when you're a cat cleanliness is very important.

Like his distant cousin Squeak, Chomp is known for getting into small spaces. In fact, he has been recruited by the emergency services on Beanie Island to assist with search and rescue - especially in places like drains and other tight places.

With her wet weather gear, Raindrop is ready for anything. She loves nothing better than to jump puddles and to sing in the rain. Raindrop is quite good at attracting the rain, which is why she often visits drought areas.

Living in the Caves on Beanie Island, Ding-Bat is a bit of a loner. His sonar doesn't always work correctly which makes him appear to be quite clumsy. He often flies into the stalactites and sometimes loses his way in the dark.

Although Jasmine uses her form of dancing for entertainment, she also uses it as a great way to keep fit. She has joined the Gym in Beanie Town and gives lessons for those that would like to keep fit and help shape their tummies.

Although there is very rarely a need for rescuing, the Beanie Master felt that both the main Beaches on the Island should be patrolled by life savers to make sure all the Beanie Kids were safe at the beach. So now between Surf & Ky, everyone's safety is assured.

Mooky used to be a sad little caterpillar with very little colour and was really quite plain. She would hide inside the bark of the trees trying not to be seen, until one day when she finally came out of her cocoon with brilliant colours, now you will find her to be quite a show off!

With so many new bears to keep entertained on Beanie Island of late, poor old Chuckles the Clown has been working overtime and needed a much deserved break. Luckily for him, Zany the Clown has arrived to help him out. In fact, Chuckles has become quite smitten with this lady clown - it seems she may have stolen his heart, with a little help from Cherub perhaps?

Ever since Gum Yin arrived on Beanie Island, Xin Yun has been very happy, as he is now able to speak with someone in his native tongue. They have become quite close of late and they are looking at opening a restaurant together.

Contrary to popular belief, koalas are not drunk all day on Eucalyptus from Gum Leaves, due to the fact that there are very little nutrients in Gum Leaves. Koala's do not get a lot of energy from their food, thus appearing lazy or drunk. Gummy however is quite energetic, as he can often be seen buying sweets from Pierre's cake shop!

Ziggy comes from our own planet - earth and lives deep within the ocean waters of the Antarctic. So deep, in fact, that the water is incredibly cold, thus the reason for his purple colour. He filters krill through the dangling mandibles on his mouth.

Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom and she certainly lives up to her title. You will often find a long line of Beanie Kids leading to her door to seek advice on anything from how to lead a fruitful life to what is the optimal time to hard boil an egg.

Party Time is the perfect party planner, he has been hired by all the big stars. If you want a party that everyone will remember then give Party Time a call. He has been a huge help with all the arrangements for the 10th Birthday celebrations on Beanie Island.

The younger of the twins, Snug-A-Bub was quite small when he was born and needed a little extra care, something that Nurse Grace is eager to assist with. The added attention and with help from his twin sister, Hug-a-Bub, Snug-A-Bub has grown lots but he still likes his little blanket wrapped nice and tight to keep him warm and feeling secure.

An incredibly nimble fellow, young Cheeky uses his amazing skills to steal things from unsuspecting Beanies. However he doesn't take items, he just moves them to strange places, for instance I woke the other morning to find my computer mouse in the refrigerator!

Sir Galahad is a brave knight who enjoys the challenge of being sent on a quest and travelling around the world on new adventures. He is an expert in dragonology and has researched dragons from all around the world and has become good friends with Ember, Smokey and Draco since his arrival on Beanie Island.

Jack may come across as bumbling and confused, however he has a very sharp mind and wit to match. So don't underestimate this crafty fellow! He is also very skilled with the sword and loves to tell stories about his adventures on the high seas.

No one is more laid back than Marley. He has a shack down by Beanie Beach and can often be found playing reggae music with Bongo on his kettle drum. The duo have come up with some pretty cool songs and love to perform them for all the Beanie Kids on the island.
